Tuesday Tunes #6: Cool Kids

I wasn’t well-liked in high school at all. As a person who cared a lot about what people think, it hurt a lot when people talk about me behind my back, especially from those I called my friends. 14. Ariana Grande – Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea)

Ariana Grande’s vocals are top-notch here, especially on that pre-chorus. Although I wished that the song had a better chorus, Iggy Azalea’s rap verses saved this song for me.

12. Taylor Swift – Blank Space

(Guys, it’s NOT Starbucks lovers!)

Taylor Swift parodies herself in this song about crazy love, and I think that it’s a genius move. She shows us that she’s ready to take over the world, if she hasn’t done so yet. Turns out, turning pop was one of her best decisions yet. (more…)
